MamaCare Privacy Policy
MamaCare helps parents track a baby's feeds, diapers and growth, and share that log with a partner. MamaCare is published by Prataminds. If you have a question about your data, write to privacy@prataminds.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email address and your Google account ID, which we receive when you sign in with Google, and the language you choose.
- Your baby's records: each baby's name, birth date and sex, and what you log: feeds (time, side, duration or bottle amount), diapers (kind, and optionally color, texture, a note and a photo), weight and length, and your feed reminder settings.
- Your family: who belongs to your family and who logged each entry.
- Your device: a push notification token and whether the device runs iOS or Android, so we can send feed reminders.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and we do not sell or rent your data. The app does not record your IP address; it is used only briefly in memory to limit repeated sign-in attempts.
How we use it
Only to run MamaCare: to sync your log between the people in your family, show feeding times and growth charts, and send the reminders you turn on. We do not use your baby's records for anything else.
Who can see it
- Your family: people you invite with a family code see and add to the same records.
- Google Cloud hosts our server, database and diaper photos in Jakarta, Indonesia. Photos are private and are shown only through links that expire.
- Google Sign-In confirms who you are when you sign in.
- Expo delivers push notifications. It receives your push token and the text of the reminder.
We share data with no one else, unless the law requires us to.
How we protect it
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is encrypted at rest on Google Cloud. Only you and your family members can reach your family's records through the app.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app, or by email; see how to delete your account.
- If you are the only member of your family, your babies and every record logged for them are deleted with your account.
- If a partner is still in the family, your account is deleted and the babies' records stay with them, without your name attached.
Deleted data is removed from our live database straight away and from backups within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@prataminds.com from the email address on your account and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
MamaCare is made for parents and caregivers. The records are about babies, but the app is not meant to be used by children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect.
